Product Description

Scope of Application

The geotextile solar radiation and weathering testing machine is used for the light resistance, weather resistance and photo-aging tests of various geosynthetic materials. By controlling the light irradiance, temperature, humidity, rain and light-dark alternation conditions in the test chamber, it provides the simulated natural environment required for the experiment to detect the performance changes of the samples after light radiation.

Test Principle

By controlling the quantified indicators such as light intensity, temperature, humidity and rain in the test chamber, the instrument provides the simulated natural conditions required for the test to examine the light fastness, weathering color fastness and photo-aging performance of the samples. This instrument features online control of light intensity, automatic monitoring and compensation of light energy, closed-loop control of temperature and humidity, and multi-point adjustment functions such as black panel temperature loop control.

Features of the Instrument

1. It adopts imported components and modular design, ensuring stable and reliable performance.

2. It is controlled by a microcomputer with a liquid crystal touch screen and a human-machine interface. The Chinese menu display and human-machine dialogue operation make it easy to use. The working status of the test chamber is displayed in an animated way. The system memory contains national standards and operation instructions, which can be viewed at any time through the help function. This is a domestic first.

3. The irradiance is controlled by digital closed-loop technology, achieving fully digital automatic measurement and control of irradiance. It also has an automatic power compensation function for irradiance, which is a domestic first. The irradiance sensor is made in Japan, with high precision and good stability.

4. The heat filter (filter) has been tested by the National Optical Research Institute for its spectral characteristics and meets the spectral requirements of the national standard to ensure the accuracy of the test results.

5. The humidity control adopts digital closed-loop technology, achieving fully digital automatic measurement and control of humidity. An ultrasonic humidifier is used for humidification, which has good uniformity of atomization. The temperature and humidity sensors are made in Switzerland, with high precision and good stability.

6. The instrument working time has single-time and cumulative time functions. The cumulative working time of the xenon lamp and the heat filter (filter) can be checked at any time to determine the usage limit and ensure the accuracy of the test results.

7. The outer shell material is made of high-quality steel plate with double-sided plastic powder coating, color: computer white. The inner box material is made of SUS304 stainless steel plate, which is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and elegant.

8. Humidification method: Steam humidifier system.

9. Filter: Quartz glass filter: to make the spectral cut-off value of the irradiance on the sample similar to that of ground sunlight.

10. Temperature control method: Refrigeration system control or air circulation control.

11. Inner box cooling device: A set of French TAIKANG fully enclosed compressor is used for refrigeration. The refrigeration air circulates through the upper air supply and lower air return system to balance the heat generated by the lamp. The system adopts dynamic temperature balance regulation and relies on intelligent PID automatic calculation to make the temperature change precisely according to the set value.

Safety Protection

1. Xenon Lamp Protection: To ensure the normal operation of the xenon arc lamp and prevent damage, this equipment is equipped with a refrigeration system linked to the lamp. If the compressor fails to cool, the xenon lamp will automatically shut off and the entire machine will stop working.

2. Water Shortage Protection: The water tank is equipped with a water shortage protection device. If the water tank is short of water, the control instrument will automatically alarm.

3. Power Protection: Phase loss and phase sequence protection.

4. Chamber Temperature Protection: Independent over-temperature protection for the chamber.

5. Compressor: Thermal overload protection for the compressor.

6. Radiation Protection: When the door is opened, the xenon lamp will automatically turn off to protect the user from radiation.
